Cecile and I enjoyed a wonderful evening with Susan and Nelson at Suspiro, the stylish Spanish-Peruvian restaurant at Santana Row.
Suspiro means “sigh” in Spanish—and the evening gave us plenty to sigh happily about! The restaurant has a vibrant, sophisticated atmosphere, with a menu inspired by the flavors of Spain and Peru. We especially enjoyed the tapas-style experience of sharing different small plates around the table.
Nelson and I enjoyed Allagash Belgian-style beers , while Susie sipped a Pisco cocktail —a perfect complement to an evening of good food, conversation, and friendship.
And we weren’t finished yet! Nelson treated us to ice cream at Smitten , where each batch is freshly churned to order—a sweet ending to a delightful night at Santana Row.
Note: A shoutout to Walter Salvador Torres from Overseas Adventure Travel, mine and my our son Jason's exceptional guide in Peru
