We enjoyed a hearty family brunch at Gold Miner Cafe, a rustic country-style diner known for its generous breakfasts, Gold Rush-era charm, and warm local atmosphere.
The fresh-squeezed orange juice made right on the premises was a standout, along with the classic brunch favorites piled high on every plate. What especially caught our attention was the collection of Johnny Cash memorabilia, a fitting tribute to his longtime connection to the Folsom area and nearby Folsom Prison.
Most of all, it was wonderful spending time together as a family. The only thing missing was Kyle, away on a business trip — and the kids definitely missed him.
