Dear sis, in childhood, we never really understood the gift wrapped up in a greater plan. Time has taught us about the bond of love, and through that love we have chosen friendship. We have learned together, sharing the good times and the challenging times, and no matter what, there has always been love. We are like branches of a tree. We all grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one. Side by side, or miles apart we will always be connected by heart. Whenever you feel overwhelmed, remember whose sister you are. Learn to dance in the rain, be brave—like you were when you took the bull by the horns when you mounted that Long Horn Steer in Fort Worth, Texas Stockyards before our nephew Michael and Lauren’s wedding two years ago:-).
